Menu for the 2017 Awards

The menu for the 2017 Awards Evening has now been confirmed:

Starter

Hog roast and apple pate with warm spelt toast
The vegetarian alternative is: Melon and Yorkshire fine fettal “Greek salad” style: sliced cantaloupe melon, with Yorkshire fine fettal cheese, olives and heritage tomatoes dressed with Yorkshire rapeseed oil vinaigrette.

Main

Roast Chicken, mixed vegetables, sautéed potatoes, stuffing, with gravy
The vegetarian alternative is: Filo pastry mushroom and fresh garden herbs Vol au Vent with a Shepherds Purse blue cheese sauce

Dessert

Traditional apple and bramble crumble served with custard

The diabetic alternative is – Trio of Yorkshire cheeses with savoury crackers, Celery sticks and grapes
