Forget the London Palladium. We have all the song, dance and comedy we need in the Spa Bridlington – and never more so than at the brilliantly entertaining Chamber Bridlington and Yorkshire Awards show every October.

Thank you so much for an excellent evening once again at the Chamber awards. This year was the best yet. Our table was in awe of the entertainment – both the dancing and singing were fantastic and such a credit to the area we should all be very proud. I hope you can all look back with pride and joy on this years event.

The event provides inspiration for all new and existing businesses to aspire to. It’s a wonderful evening celebrating how great our local businesses are and we are pleased to play a part in the evenings celebrations.

The Event gets better every year. Excellent entertainment and well deserved award winners.

I would like to thank you for a fantastic evening on Friday, it was very much enjoyed.

I attended a function on Friday night and heard Emmie Beckett sing. She is absolutely fantastic, what a wonderful voice she has. It would be a real travesty if she does not make a successful career from her voice.
Truly enchanting and I was not the only one to think so, several standing ovations supported my opinion.

A magnificent evening at the Awards – again. The organisation, entertainment, the food, and, of course, the Award Winners, were all first class. Looking forward to next year already.

Well done to you and your team for putting on such a great show.

It was wonderful to be part of the judging team to reward our region’s business talent and give local companies the recognition they richly deserve. There are so many businesses out there doing inspiring and innovative things, investing in the local workforce and creating new jobs across the Yorkshire coast. Well done to every business that entered, and a big congratulations to those who reached the finals and to the winners of each category.

A really good night with great entertainment. Fantastic jazz band and a great comedian but most of all a truly superb young singer in Emmie Beckett. An outstanding and superb voice she was fantastic and is as good as anyone I have heard including Katherine Jenkins. Several standing ovations said it all. Brilliant!

Thanks for putting together a fantastic event on Friday. Having attended many of these events over the years, and I must say this one had it all. From the great music by the St Augustine’s Jazz Orchestra, to dancers, to a comedian (who was very funny), then a serious section by the volunteers from Bridlington Lifeboat about there invaluable work , and finally a pitch-perfect performance from Emmie. Plus all the awards in between. Clare Frisby was an inspired choice as host and presenter for the evening.

Emmie Beckitt gave a truly fantastic performance – really enjoyed the evening.

What an enjoyable evening we had promoting local Food & Drink at the champagne reception for the 2017 Bridlington & Yorkshire Coast Business Awards. The atmosphere was great, smiles all round, everyone enjoying themselves whilst celebrating local achievement.

The team from Great Yorkshire Radio were proud to be part of what was a
great celebration of local business at its best at the Spa in Bridlington.
Our team met and interviewed many of the finalists, winners and supporters
as well as dozens of local business leaders and teams from the area. The
atmosphere, finalist profiles and entertainment all came together and that
came through strongly during our interviews which we broadcast on Great
Yorkshire Radio on the night and which will be available to ‘listen again’
on our website soon.

It was a fantastic evening. The food was good. The Spa staff were wonderful. The entertainment was outstanding. The atmosphere was electric. All the feedback I’ve heard was extremely positive. The Lord Lieutenant, chief exec and chair of ERYC, mayor of Brid all said they really enjoyed the event. Colin Brown had no idea he was up for an award. He was gobsmacked and very pleased.

Yet again the Bridlington and Yorkshire Coast Business Awards surpassed itself in celebrating the great businesses and people in our region. Such a positive and uplifting occasion.
